Actually you're so right? and I think I feel like when I work with people the best work happens when it's intuitive not planned just feeling the energy. Listening to the client to their needs and just guiding that journey and that path and that's the best work that happens honestly. So It's a lot of intuitive work right.

Completely completely and we just have those tools that are like in the toolkit to use and and like you said it just comes out intuitively because everyone's so unique that it's difficult to say okay I can do this for you or I can do this for you and it's more like. Whatever comes up and is presented in the moment trusting that we can know what to do in those moments trusting is a big one trusting is such a big one. You know it's an interesting question because it's really the center of my self work right now because I know that I need I need I know that it will serve me. To to trust to let go to surrender and allow things to unfold in whatever way, they're meant to be but it's not easy and I'll say that very openly it hasn't been very easy for me to trust because I'm used to a system. You know you know me am I've I've worked in corporate for 10 years and I'm still. Finding my way out of that system physically energetically because that's a system that's safe. There is nothing for you to surrender to you get an income at the end of the month you have a boss to tell you what to do you have a 9 to 5 you just wake up and you know where to go. Everything's so clear. So there's nothing to kind of.

Feel like um to doubt or to worry or it's just there. It's safe and when I got out of that system. You know I had to really harness that that emotion or feeling and the idea of hey just relax trust things will happen when they're meant to be maybe it's not this month maybe today is not the day for a good energy. Maybe today you just meant to go and a walk on the beach and that's okay and for me to make that transition. Not easy, but I would say it's the center of my work because I know for a fact that I can attract. So.

I Totally agree with you I think same for me trusting has been one of those core principles of my work but I still see trusting as something that feels like a part of myself almost dying and you feel like you need to protect it.

I guess allowing. There's also a lot about relaxing like relaxing into the moment. Um presence a lot of being present being here and now versus being in the worry of. What could happen what could be or when will this happen already. Why is this not happening. Why am I not getting this or that or that's not unfolding so allowing is just being here now. Okay I'm good I'm grateful I'm safe. Um, I'm actually doing well let me remind myself of the amazing things that I've done so far. So I harness this energy of gratitude love and that just brings me into presence I'm here I'm now that's enough that's okay and I can focus on what I need to do today. And allow things to unfold when they're meant to be so I guess it's a lot about presence which again and also it is a lot of practice work. A lot of things to practice. Yeah.

A feeling I can't be present because I feel stressed all the time like my mind is elsewhere. So what are some techniques or takeaways that people can kind of bring into your life in their life to actually to actually handle the stress to overcome the stress. That's that they're experiencing.

Thank you for that question I've I've experienced burnout stress anxiety. You name it and I think that's why I love to talk about this because a lot of people are experiencing that and statistics are showing research is showing that people in corporate specifically don't share. And don't say that I'm stressed they say I'm sick and I need to go home but they don't say I'm stressed or I have mental health struggles so just putting that out there that it is a big big struggle and um I just connect to people who are experiencing that because I have myself. And the first thing I always speak about is this mindset shift about stress because I don't know what happened along the years but we've come to hate stress I don't know why is it? The media is it some kind of company that wants to sell us. Ah, something I don't know why but we really speak awfully about stress stress is awful. Stress is bad, be careful with stress stress will kill you. There was an amazing research that was done actually Emma that showed stress could kill you only if you believed it would and it twedish.

Again. So yes, stress could kill you. But only if you believed It's Good. You know and so step number one for me is to change the conversation around stress ah stress we're we're born with that system. Actually you know it's a primitive system the fight or flight system. We're born with it. We're born to have that system of protection to serve us protect us throughout life. So It's nothing to fear I believe that everything has been given to us in this body is there for a positive reason and the reason for stress is to help us deliver help us show up.

Help us take that leap of faith take that jump trust ourselves. Um, listen to our intuition. Why doesn't this feel great. Why does this feel good instead and what's happening there so number one change the mindset mindset around stress and don't fall into the trap of. Let's sit and complain about how stressful this job is you know there's a lot of that happening and rather than doing that saying hey come On. Let's take a step Back. What can we do about this. What can we learn from this. How can I use this energy that's within me what is it trying to tell me how is it trying to guide me.

And now all of a sudden you took something that felt like good opportunity to complain and fall into that pattern of I hate this and you took it into my body has this inner wisdom that's called a stress system that has been. Literally embedded in my body and is now activated and is trying to either push me to excel or to tell me to relax and take a break before you push yourself too far and if I listen to that and I see it that way and I actually respond to it positively.

Exactly and you know I was recently watching an amazing T talk about stress and there was a beautiful message there part of the T talk Ah the the speaker was sharing that as in stress you release oxytocin which is actually the hug hormone.

Um, amazing right? hug hormone How cute and which shows that actually your body has its own resilience plan that when you're under stress it releases the hug hormone to allow you to have more compassion towards yourself and seek Support. So How amazing is it to realize that my body. Under stressss is already supporting me by releasing the hug hormone to seek support to find compassion to myself and that allows me to see have compassion towards others who are actually experiencing stress so you see stress also invites compassion and love and community and support because it's.

Moves you towards being around people and wanting and craving that that love and Compassion. So That's also another angle of saying that you know it's there to really serve us energize us bring us together and to push you towards you? The best version of yourself. But only if you listen. And only if you balance it, you know to balance it with ah the right relaxation and the right the in and the young. Basically you can't always be under stress so balance it listen to it be mindful of it and it will serve you. That's for sure.

I Love that I Love that message and we tacked in a little bit to the belief of stress is kind of what creates people actually suffering from illnesses and and potentially dying because they have this belief of what stress means to them So I know this would. This will probably tie into the work that you're looking into through through hypnotherapy about how the beliefs kind of creating our reality and how our beliefs are actually creating what we're really experiencing rather than the kind of the thing itself. So How does this tie in here to in from your perspective that what stress could mean in terms of how. We shift our beliefs around it then it actually changes the experience that we have with it and then invites more things into our lives.

Exactly thought every thought is creating your reality. You know if I am going to come here and say Emma I'm stressed and I hate this and this is awful and it's baking me feel tired and it's causing me up. Ugly sensation in my body and I just don't want to go out today and then you're gonna carry on that conversation negatively as well and we're gonna keep building onto this negativity until I actually attract an awful day excuse me so until I attract an awful day. Ah. Just by thinking that this stress is making me feel tired this and that now if in a moment I could say okay I'm stressed I'm starting to feel a bit tired now. Let me take a step back. What can I do? Okay, let me go for a walk and re-energize why am I stressed. Is it because this is new for me. Okay, then this is good I might learn from this. How can I use this. So now I shifted the conversation and now you see my body right now actually as I speak feels differently than when I was sharing all of these negative things now. My body is excited now. My body is feeling like. Hey. It's okay I can take a moment to reflect on this and take a break so it feels energized so you see how a thought or a word even when it becomes a communication is even more powerful when me sharing the negative I manifested the negative but when I shared the positive. I'm able to create a new reality for my day and I'm able to create a new story for my day which is a more positive story. Even if it is under stress but it's a positive story of stress I was stressed today but you know what I got so excited about that big presentation that I'm supposed to be doing. I aced it I excelled at it. My heart was beating so fast. It helped me focus I was so attentive I didn't forget any of the messages that I wanted to give out I was so in the moment in the zone um stress helped me ah feel that energy within my body and at one point I took a nice. Break and it felt so energizing so you see a stressful day can be amazing if you shift that mindset around it. It all starts with thought.

I Love that what I'm kind of hearing in that as Well. A little bit is it's kind of our resistance to even sharing about these things in a way that because we kind of a lot of.. What I've seen is we bond through these kind of complaining conversations around something like this especially in the workplace I mean you must have experienced that a lot in your 10 years in corporate and I wasn't in corporate for that long but I definitely experienced it and it's interesting Then how we're we're bonding over this kind of.

That's normal reaction of stress when people are stressed in general they tend to feel physical changes physiological changes in their body. So What I'm going to do about it and now you're empowering your future rather than impacting it negatively is I'm going to use this stress. To focus and get this finish this task that has been on my mind for a whole week I'm going to call a friend who always supports me and gives me this positive talk and inspiration and I'm going to go for a nice walk. So now. That same feeling that I didn't deny I'm stressed and I have this feeling in my body but I created a positive future rather than allowing this feeling to create a negative future.

Exactly because the purpose is for us to create a happy life and if you keep that in mind that okay I'm having even if it's a sadness you know I'm I'm feeling sad right? but rather than thinking I'm sad and my life sucks and I have no one around me. And this whole week and this whole year and everything no just stay with the sadness feel it fully observe it take a deep breath understand it listen to it and then empower yourself to proceed with empowerment to respond with empowerment of okay, what can I learn from this How do I want the rest of the week to look like what is ideal here. How can I shift this so I guess the main message really is yes, be with the feeling now but empower a positive future and don't let this feeling carry on to create a negative week day sometime a year.

Um, you know what Spirituality has always been my like ah like the most thing that no matter how my day is going. That's my go to like sitting praying meditating. Breathing closing my eyes and and just being with that amazing energy feels amazing and that has always guided me because that has guided me to to be part of communities who are sharing spirituality and connecting. And serving and becoming more conscious and mindful and aware and that has allowed me to to go into this whole world of yoga and meditation and that has allowed me to become a coach that has allowed me to become of a hepnotherapist so you see how. Me just trusting that I like praying and spirituality and meditating opened a whole world for me which is my life Purpose. So What I enjoy is connection Community spirit grounding connecting to this amazing feeling I Love that every day that.

I Love that because yeah, again, it goes back to the thought creating the reality and if I'm here sitting thinking. Um,, there's no way that I will ever be able to. Do something that I love and I don't have a passion you know hear a lot of people saying I hear that a lot when people see that I'm doing something that I love like but you know what you love I don't know what I want I I don't have a passion So when again, you repeat those thoughts those words. You are Blocking. You are blocking the universe from giving you the signs from receiving from from giving you from reaching out to you. But if you actually sit there and say hey I'm ready to receive a sign as simple as that you know I'm ready to receive a sign. Show me what my passion is and every day I sit there and I say I'm ready Hello I'm ready to receive the sign show me what my passion is show me my path show me how I can serve the world I Want to feel good I feel amazing and grateful and I want more of that amazing feeling than the Universe. You know, just like positive attracts positive is going to witness you and say okay, there's someone there asking So We're ready to give and you're ready to receive you need to be ready to receive So The universe is able to give you so again, ask and you will receive right? If you're able to ask for it.

Clearly put it out there and trust believe that you can receive because that's a very big part of the formula as well believing that I am worthy I am enough I can receive I am here for a greater purpose and I'll figure out what it is when the time is right. And when you practice that emotion not just saying I'm enough saying I'm enough is is great but then practicing. Okay I'm enough because I'm this and that and that and I allow myself. And I don't need to prove myself to anyone and you have this conversation with yourself every day and you harness this feeling of hoof feel it I'm enough feel it in your body feel that emotion and that just allows you to be more present and that open space for for things to come into your life with more ease. And you know what when you say I'm enough. You don't even need things to come into your life because you're enough and you're enough here now and you're present and you're all loving and you'll just grow from there. So I Guess really it goes back to the emotion how you feel about yourself. Not just how. There's a lot of the mind but then inviting the emotion that comes with the thought and that emotion of Positivity invited every day into your life Now How to invite it remember a time where you felt it and journal about that. Ah, close your eyes and remember a time where you felt amazing and where you felt like I don't need anything else in the world because I have everything right here remember that you felt it before once upon a time and bring it back and connect back to that feeling and expand it. Um, you know what fake it till you make it. Pretend Imagine what would it feel like to be enough. It's would feel like this you feel like that I would be more like this in my body invite that more into your life every day So you start to become that and you attract more of that.
